WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT CORRUPTION
In accordance with Part 4 of Art. 12 of the Federal Law of 25.12.2008 No. 273-FZ "On Combating Corruption", when concluding an employment or civil law contract for the performance of work (provision of services) worth more than one hundred thousand rubles with a citizen who held positions in the state or municipal service, the list of which is established by regulatory legal acts of the Russian Federation, within two years after his dismissal from the state or municipal service, the employer is obliged to notify the representative of the employer (employer) of the state or municipal employee at his last place of service of the conclusion of such a contract within ten days in the manner established by regulatory legal acts of the Russian Federation.
Failure to comply with the specified requirement of the Law entails administrative liability under Article 19.29 "Illegal involvement in labor activity or in the performance of work or the provision of services of a state or municipal employee or a former state or municipal employee" of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation in the form of an administrative fine on citizens in the amount of up to 4 thousand rubles, for officials - up to 50 thousand rubles, for legal entities - up to 500 thousand rubles.
In accordance with paragraph 1 of Article 1 of the Federal Law of 25.12.2008 No. 273-FZ "On Combating Corruption", corruption is understood as abuse of official position, giving a bribe, receiving a bribe, abuse of authority, commercial bribery or other illegal use by an individual of his official position contrary to the legitimate interests of society and the state in order to obtain benefits in the form of money, valuables, other property or property services, other property rights for himself or for third parties, or the illegal provision of such benefits to the said person by other individuals, as well as the commission of the said acts on behalf of or in the interests of a legal entity.
